The KAT500 is a completely integrated radar/laser detector which responds not only to all the radar guns in use today, including "Stalker," but also to the other latest development in speed monitoring devices--the laser gun. Add Rocky Mountain technologies like Micro-Scan and Smart-Scan, and competitive features like Safety Warning System detection and you've got some feature-packed peace of mind.

Wide Detection
The KAT500 provides distinct visual and audible alerts to warn you of the presence of X, K, and all kinds of Ka Band radar guns in the front and rear of you. It also provides 360 degree laser detection with adaptive laser tracking (ALT) for better laser performance. Stay alert with a 3.4 mile radar detection range for radar and 2.5 miles for laser.

VG-2 Immunity
VG-2 are devices police use to detect radar detectors. This model provides the benefit of 'undetectability' by alerting you to the presence of VG-2 signals.

Advanced Micro-Scan
Scans the radar bands 2-4 times faster than as any other detector. This allows Rocky Mountain devices to pick up the new P.O.P. radar that no one else can.

Smart-Scan
